Martucci Tributes Gretsch With Tat

October 11, 2011 Chrissy Mauck Artists Blogs, Lifestyle 0

Not that he had a ton of blank space on his heavily-inked arms, but Thousand Watt Stare guitarist Christian Martucci recently paid tribute to a prominent part of his instrument arsenal with this Gretsch logo. Check out the iconic Gretsch symbol freshly tattooed on his right wrist.

Martucci, who has played with Dee Dee Ramone and and Corey Taylor of Slipknot, formed his band along with bassist Pat Kim and drummer Dylan Howard in 2010.  Fellow guitarist Trevor Howard was added earlier this year.

You can hear Thousand Watt Stare’s brand of heavy rock with their debut full-length album Silver Dimes.
