With a backdrop of crystal blue waters, beautiful blue skies and mid-70s temperatures, the Fifth-Annual Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion festival drew 11,000-plus attendees from Feb. 15-17. If you appreciate hotrod cars, pinup girl contests and twanging Gretsch guitars, Lake Havasu State Park (Arizona) was indeed the place to be.
Once again Gretsch was a major sponsor to the family- friendly event. Local Gretsch dealer, Pop’s Music (Prescott, Ariz.) partnered to assemble a fabulous exhibit of Gretsch guitars for attendees to check out.
Featured bands slinging Gretsch guitars included The Booze Bombs, Cash’d Out, The Chop Tops, The Octanes, Dirty Dice, The High Rollers, Rooster Coup Deville, Moonlight Howlers, The Deadbeat Daddies, Sandbox Bullies and Los Bandits.
