L.A.-based Americana band the Far West just released their sophomore album Any Day Now, and to promote the new effort, they’ve dropped a music video for the alt-country track “Bright Side.”
While the album was recorded at a vintage hot rod shop in Southern California, the band chose to film the video in a more traditional Americana venue.
“The Grand Ole Echo is a country and Americana music institution in Los Angeles,” said bassist Robert Black. “It’s been running every Sunday in the summers for almost a decade. We play it once a year, and we couldn’t believe no one had used it as a backdrop for a video yet. It’s got kind of a family vibe for us, and we wanted to try to capture that.”
