5 Reasons to Love the New Gretsch Streamliners

Explore New Tonal Horizons. Experience Full-Wave Fidelity. Seek Adventures in Big-Body Sound.

Join the Brave New Sound with our Gretsch Streamliner Collection, entirely refreshed for the new year.  We invite you to thoroughly explore the line here, but first, here’s 5 reasons to love these new guitars.

The Broad’Tron™ BT-2S Pickups

The all-new Broad’Tron BT-2S pickups were engineered to enhance tonal clarity and definition. Plugged in, these pickups turn out wave after wave of increased sonic attack with each strum of a chord or pluck of a string. The Broad’Tron BT-2S pays special attention to the low-end, so you play with a more well-rounded sound.

Enlarged F-Holes

The enlarged F-holes found on these models amplify sonic resonance from the strings. Whether you are plugged in or stripped down without an amp, the result is fuller acoustic projection to explore an endless realm of brave new sounds.

Fantastic New Finishes

Gretsch has long been the pinnacle of style, and that reputation extends to the fantastic new finishes.

Roll out the red carpet for the G240T Streamliner Hollow Body with Bigsby® in a magnificent Candy Apple Red, Golddust or Riviera Blue. All three colors are stunners, especially under the stage lights.

Understated, yet elegant define your tastes?  The G2420 Streamliner Hollowbody with Chromatic II takes a more vintage vibe with Aged Brooklyn Burst, Village Amber and Walnut Stain finishes.

The G2622T Streamliner Center Block with Bigsby rocks cool and mesmerizing hues with Gunmetal, Riviera Blue or Torino Green finishes. For the G2622 (with V-Stoptail), you can take the ethereal route with the silvery Phantom Metallic finish or stay upscale with the stately Single Barrel Stain or Walnut Stain finishes.  For the lefties, the G2622LH (with V-Stoptai) gets either the Single Barrel Stain or Torino Green treatment.

For the smallest-sized guitar in this Collection, the G2655 Center Block Jr. with V-Stoptail is dressed in a flashy Gunmetal or the elegant Single Barrel Stain while the G2655T Center Block Jr. with Bigsby goes regal in Fairlane Blue or refined in Imperial Stain.
