Grammy-winning singer Lauren Daigle enjoyed a big night last Tuesday at the 50th annual Gospel Music Association’s Dove Awards, winning artist of the year, song of the year and pop/contemporary album of the year with 2018’s Look Up Child.
Entering the show as the leading artist nominee, Daigle’s artist of the year win marked her second in three years.
“It is incredible to see the impact these songs and the album are having in people’s lives and throughout our music community,” Daigle shared on social after the event.
Earlier this month, the Louisiana songstress also stopped by the Today show, where she gave stellar renditions of a couple of her songs, including “Rescue.” For the track, guitarist Dwayne Larring provided the ambient guitar work alongside Daigle’s powerhouse vocals on a Gretsch G6636T Players Edition White Falcon.
