Bill Evans, banjo instructor for Peghead Nation, recently tested out a Gretsch G9410 Broadkaster Special Banjo.
In his video review, Evans discussed the finish, tone and playability of the Roots Collection instrument.
“The geared fifth-string peg is a nice thing to have on a banjo at this price level,” noted Evans. “Cheaper banjos will sometimes have a peg that is not geared, and they’re harder to tune.”
