The Decemberists recently stopped into the Santa Monica, Calif., studios of KCRW to perform a few of their new songs off What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World. You can listen to the entire set here, but video has also surfaced of the Colin Meloy-led band playing the album's top single, "Make You Better."

Timber Timbre Perform Hot Dreams Tracks on KCRW

Rokia Traore Performs ‘Mama’ Live on KCRW

Award-winning Malian singer/songwriter Rokia Traore released her fifth studio album Beautiful Africa in April of last year, and as she traveled to promote it, she stopped into the studios of KCRW in Los Angeles for a live performance. Now, video of Traore playing one song from that appearance on Morning Becomes Eclectic has surfaced online. Portugal. The Man Brings Evil Friends to Conan, KCRW

In the midst of a tour supporting their new record Evil Friends, Portugal. The Man was recently the featured musical guest on Conan and on Los Angeles' KCRW. In each setting, the band picked two tracks that have been burning up the radio airwaves: "Purple, Yellow, Red and Blue" and "Creep in a T-Shirt." Watch

Watch Local Natives Play ‘Heavy Feet’

Local Natives have a new album titled Hummingbird scheduled to come out later this month, and the Los Angeles-by-way-of-Orange County artists recently played several of their new tracks at a KCRW event in Santa Monica. Taking place at Apogee’s Berkeley St. Studios, the entire session will be broadcast on Morning Becomes Eclectic on Friday at 11:15 a.m. (PST).

Band Of Skulls Stops By Morning Becomes Eclectic

In between Coachella performances, the U.K.'s Band of Skulls stopped by Los Angeles' KCRW studios last week for a quick appearance on Morning Becomes Eclectic.
