Rockabilly pioneer Wanda Jackson hit David Letterman last night to promote her new album The Party Ain’t Over. Joined by special guest Jack White (on his vintage Gretsch) and his Third Man House Band, the 73-year-old singer shook things up by performing Johnny Kidd and the Pirates’ 1960s hit “Shakin’ All Over.”
Letterman was so pleased by the performance that he asked for more.
“Oh my God,” he exclaimed. “Holy Crap. Whoa!! Who was doing that? Oh my God. Oh my goodness.”
