When U.K. indie folk-rock band Daughter was promoting their debut full-length album If You Leave in the States earlier this year, they stopped by Seattle’s KEXP studios to play a few new tracks.
Two of those were the dreamily haunting “Smother” and “Human,” both of which feature frontwoman Elena Tonra’s ethereal vocal talents.
