Cody Ray Slaughter Kicks off Elvis Week on Letterman

As the youngest person ever to be named an Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Cody Ray Slaughter has made a name for himself for his version of “The King.”

As such, it was fitting that Slaughter kicked off the Can’t Help Falling in Love with Elvis Week on The Late Show with David Letterman with a performance of “Jailhouse Rock.”

Slaughter, who is currently in the touring production of “The Million Dollar Quartet,” dressed the part in jailhouse stripes and black jacket and jeans while shaking his hips just like Presley.  In addition, Slaughter was accompanied by Gretsch artist Wyatt Maxwell on the guitar.
