Every time we see Brooklyn trio the Lone Bellow live, we just can’t help but wish our Gretsch crew could catch them some day at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans, holding down the Gospel tent and inspiring a sea of swaying bodies, foot stomping and outstretched hands with their brand of soulful and rollicking tunes.
In the meantime, fans of this now-Nashville based act can enjoy their recent stirring performance of “May You Be Well” on Conan. The track appears on the Dave Cobb-produced album Walk Into a Storm, and was originally written by singer Zach Williams as a letter to his oldest daughter.
The band added strings for the live performance, injecting even more of an uplifting and prayerful vibe to this soaring ballad.
